Students created Surrealist Watercolor Collages. They first began by creating watercolor paintings experimenting with different techniques (salt, alcohol, wet on wet, dry brush, spong). Students then looked at their paintings as if they were looking at clouds and found different images they could see. They then drew these images into the watercolor with graphite pencils. Students finished their collages by adding clippings to their collage. Students were asked to incorporate one surrealsit term.
