In class we took a looked at 'Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs' Exhibition at the MoMa and students watched a short video clip about Matisse. We discussed about the shapes, negative space and limited color palette he used in his cut-out work. Using a limited color palette of 3 colors of construction paper students created their own cut-out collage.
